Dr. Samantha McIntosh completed her undergraduate medical education and Internal Medicine residency at George Washington University and was a chief medical resident at GWU from 2004-2005. She is a 2009 graduate of the Master Teacher Leadership Development Program at the GWU School of Education and Human Development. She joined the Washington DC VAMC as a hospitalist in 2007 and became the DC VAMC site director for internal medicine residents in 2009. Her areas of interest include curriculum development and research in graduate medical education, focusing on integrating evidence-based medicine and quality improvement into residents' clinical activities.
