Employee of the Month
Patient Advocate/Greeter Angelo Degree, has been named Washington DC VA Medical Center Employee of the Month. Angelo, a US Navy Veteran, has been serving DC area Veterans since 2007. Serving as a Front Desk Ambassador, he is often the first and last face Veterans see at the Medical Center. Serving Veterans is his passion and he goes out of his way to make sure every Veteran and visitor has an outstanding experience. He never hesitates to take the initiative and to problem-solve. Mr. Degree is known to sacrifice his own comfort and convenience to help a fellow employee, volunteer, Veteran or visitor. He is deserving of this special recognition.
