Washington DC VA Medical Center

Prince George’s County CBOC

VA and Joint Base Andrew Officials, along with Maryland leaders Senator Ben Cardin, Congresswoman Donna Edwards, and Secretary of Maryland Veterans Affairs Edward Chow cut the ribbon of the Southern Prince George's County Community Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) July 30.

The Southern Prince George's CBOC is located at 5801 Allentown Road in close proximity to Joint Base Andrews. It serves large numbers of Veterans residing in Prince George's County and the adjacent counties of Charles, Calvert and St. Mary's. Extending VA health services to this regional hub gives Veterans convenient access to quality health care. Services offered include: primary care, comprehensive women's health care, audiology, nutrition, mental health and dental care. This is the first VA CBOC in the region to offer dental services. Telehealth for specialty services is also available at the Southern Prince George's County CBOC.

The CBOC is the sixth community location for health services in the Capital area operated by the Washington DC VA Medical Center. The other community clinic locations are: Southeast DC; Ft. Belvoir, VA; Greenbelt, Maryland; and Charlotte Hall, MD, as well as a Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC) in downtown DC for homeless and at-risk Veterans.
