Each year, the Washington DC VA Medical Center honors the memories of veteran patients who passed away at the hospital in the past year through a Memorial Service. The Memorial Service, coordinated through Chaplains Service, draws nearly 600 family members and friends. At this year’s service, Ms. Geraldine Feaster, Chief Nurse Executive, was the keynote speaker. Dr. Hans Moore, Cardiology Service, also addressed the group. The program includes a musical performance, reading of the roll call of deceased veterans, and a light reception.
