The annual Rolling Thunder visit to the Washington DC VA Medical Center took place over Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 26. Approximately 150 Rolling Thunder members visited residents of the Comprehensive Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (CNRC). The group provided entertainment and lead residents in a sing-a-long. They distributed gifts and made donations for the unit. Then they were on their way to the National Vietnam Veterans Memorial for the national Rolling Thunder gathering. Jon Palks and Lucille Lisle, Recreation Therapists, coordinated the visit.
