On, November 19 the Medical Center opened its new Alexandria community-based outpatient clinic (CBOC). The facility is co-located with the Veterans Readjustment and Counseling Center (Vet Center).

The Alexandria CBOC will provide primary care and some specialty care to veterans enrolled with DCVAMC who reside in Northern Virginia. The Vet Center will serve combat veterans and their families' readjustment needs.

The new location at 6940 South Kings Highway is larger than the previous location, providing space for another clinician and more counselors. The facility is accessible to metro and bus lines, and provides plenty of parking. The new phone number is 703-313-0694.
