The Washington DC GAG Team returned home safely with 2 gold medals, 7 silver and 6 bronze!

The Washington DC VA Medical Center Golden Age Games team members and staff The Washington DC GAG (Golden Age Games) Team returned home safely from Houston, Texas after a week a great competition. The DCVAMC Team ran the gamut bringing in 2 gold medals, 7 silver and 6 bronze! Charles Butler (visually impaired) took the silver in bowling and shuffleboard. Julius Fleishman (visually impaired took the bronze in horseshoes and shuffleboard. Bernard Gibson won the silver in table tennis. Stanley Levy won the bronze in the 1/4 mile bicycling, silver in the 1/2 mile bicycling and a bronze in table tennis. Fred Webb won the silver in table tennis. Connie Gilbert won the silver in bowling. Robert Laughlin won the silver in the 50 yard backstroke/swimming. Rounding out the pack, Peter Delonga (CNRC) resident, took home the gold in table tennis and shot put, bronze in horseshoes and bronze in discus.
