  • what is diabetes including symptoms of low and high sugars, complications of diabetes
  • glucometer training: how to test your blood sugar

A healthy diet is an important part of diabetes management. Nutritionist at the DCVAMC can guide you to make food choices for your medical conditions.

Nutrition classes or dietician appointment can be scheduled through primary care clinic or as walk in (Room 1C-111 on the first floor)
