DCVAMC employees in the Hawk Eye team are empowered to support Medical Center departments as they ensure a clean, welcoming, safe and pleasant experience for Veterans and visitors of the VA Medical Center. Hawk Eyes are not simply observers, they provide helpful guidance on improvements to our patient-centered care. They are clearly identifiable by their navy blue blazers with the Hawk Eye logo. Team members change quarterly to give more employees a chance to participate. The team also manages the Hawk Eye customer service feedback telephone Hotline.
Veterans or family members and visitors may reach the Hawk Eye Hotline three ways:
- From any telephone in the Medical Center, dial extension 7474 to leave a message on the Hawk Eye Customer Service Hotline
- From one of the orange telephones located in the main atrium and in the cafeteria for direct access to the Hawk Eye Customer Service Hotline.
- From a telephone or a mobile phone, dial 202-745-8000, ext. 7474 to record your message.
