DCVAMC employees in the Hawk Eye team are empowered to support Medical Center departments as they ensure a clean, welcoming, safe and pleasant experience for Veterans and visitors of the VA Medical Center. Hawk Eyes are not simply observers, they provide helpful guidance on improvements to our patient-centered care. They are clearly identifiable by their navy blue blazers with the Hawk Eye logo. Team members change quarterly to give more employees a chance to participate. The team also manages the Hawk Eye customer service feedback telephone Hotline.

Veterans or family members and visitors may reach the Hawk Eye Hotline three ways:

  1. From any telephone in the Medical Center, dial extension 7474 to leave a message on the Hawk Eye Customer Service Hotline
  2. From one of the orange telephones located in the main atrium and in the cafeteria for direct access to the Hawk Eye Customer Service Hotline.
  3. From a telephone or a mobile phone, dial 202-745-8000, ext. 7474 to record your message.
