The Washington DC VA Medical Center, located within sight of the Nation's Capitol, offers comprehensive primary and specialty care to the 121,057 (FY18) Veterans who are enrolled for VA health care in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
The medical center has 164 acute care beds, 30 Psychosocial Residential Rehabilitation Treatment beds, and a 20-suite Fisher House. The medical center also operates an adjacent 120-bed Community Living Center and five community-based clinics in DC, Maryland and Virginia as well as a Community Resource and Referral Center which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help homeless and at-risk Veterans.
