DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses

Nursing Service’s new employee recognition program, DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, is gathering steam. This week registered nurse Elaine Snoddy of Home Based Primary Care, became the second nurse to receive the monthly DAISY Award honor. What makes the DAISY Award so special is that nominations come from other nurses, staff, Veterans or family members. Winners receive a pin, certificate, plaque and their name will appear in Scrubs and Nurse.com. All monthly winners will become eligible for the annual national DAISY award.
