DCVAMC serves as the VISN-5 Polytrauma Network Site (PNS), one of 23 facilities in the country designed to provide comprehensive, long-term rehabilitative care to Service Members and Veterans who have experienced severe injuries to more than one organ system, including Traumatic Brain Injury.
