The Million Veteran Program (MVP) is an important research partnership between VA and Veterans to ultimately improve health care for Veterans. Participation in MVP is open to all Veterans and is entirely voluntary. To do this, MVP will build one of the world's largest medical databases by safely collecting blood samples and health information from one million Veteran volunteers. Data collected will be stored anonymously for research on diseases like diabetes and cancer, and military-related illnesses, such as post-traumatic stress disorder. For more information about MVP, visit www.research.va.gov/mvp or call toll-free 866-441-6075.
