"Be kind to each other and share what you have," those are the words of wisdom from 106-year-old WWII Veteran Ms. Alyce Dixon when asked the secret to longevity.

Representatives from the: The American Legion, DC Mayor Gray's Office, American Legion Auxiliary, Stalling Williams Chapter 206, the Military Youth of the Year Program and the Boys and Girls Club of America came together to honor 106-year-old Alyce Dixon on her birthday. Music was provided by Veteran and Blues Artist, Memphis Gold. Frank Ski and Renee Nash from WHUR came to cover the momentous event.
