The Washington DC VA Medical Center team members, comprised of medical and non-medical professionals, have a commitment to caring for approximately 123,350 Veterans who are enrolled for VA health care. The team is committed to providing safe, quality comprehensive health care to Veterans living in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
To educate Veterans, their family members and caregivers as well as the community about VA health benefits and services offered at the DC VA Medical Center, the Office of Public Affairs and Community Relations has established “A Commitment to Caring” campaign to provide information about the various health care services and programs available to Veterans. The campaign will feature a variety of departments and services throughout the medical center and offer a synopsis of services offered. The campaign also includes photos of actual medical center employees and teams to familiarize Veterans, family members and caregivers with the DC VA Medical Center team. The templated features are shared on the website and medical center social media platforms.
The DC VA Medical Center offers comprehensive health care, caring for the whole Veteran – mind, body and spirit.
