DC VAMC Offers a "Salute to Veterans" Video in Honor of Veterans Day 2019

November 6, 2019

In honor of Veterans Day 2019, the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center’s multidisciplinary team has created a “Salute to Veterans” video to share with Veterans, their family members, caregivers and the general public via television and radio outlets as well as social media platforms.

The video, which is available as either a 15 or 30-second download, is an annual tribute produced by the Washington DC VA Medical Center’s Office of Public Affairs to demonstrate the team’s commitment to caring for and honoring Veterans of all eras and branches of services.

The video recognizes the selfless service of the 123,330 Veterans enrolled for VA care at the DC VA Medical Center and residing in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.

Please help us celebrate this day by airing and/or posting one of the “Salute to Veterans” video segments, which are led by Medical Center Director Michael S. Heimall, FACHE, on Veterans Day, November 11, 2019.
